KILUBUKILA is an injonction in Kikongo which means “be wise”, this invitation is the spirit of
 our brand. We are a cultural project working on a collaboration and cultural network model to bring value to crafts, traditions and modernity. We aim to build economic resilience to our partners and beneficiaries in the DR Congo via training and to bridge regional and international markets of design. Our creative approach to upcycling mixes Western classics with African prints. In our Kinshasa based atelier our female artisans use the pan-African Mandombe script on traditional Kuba textiles.
