AIRBORNE has been a French furniture editor since 1951 renowned for its iconic models like the AA chair©. Since 2010, its artistic revival has been secured with the influx of a new team and extremely gifted young designers.

“AIRBORNE France“ was founded by Charles Bernard in 1951. Its workshop manufactured two hundred iconic models. Today, AIRBORNE offers 57 different covers to fit the AA chair, THE historical reference of the company. Sine 2010, its artistic revival has been secured with the influx of a new team and extremely gifted young designers. This collaboration has allowed AIRBORNE to become once again a French manufacturer and a creator of timeless furniture. The future is inscribed in the past.

      Its name: the HAMAKA© We have all been working on this model for 6 years...thanks to the will of Anne-Laure Détrie, the designer's granddaughter. A floating seat invented in the early 1960s...and reinterpreted by Coralie Frick and Arnaud Le Cat Edited in 2023 by airborne and entirely made in France The Hamaka is an atypical piece and attracts attention with discretion and elegance.

      It is a small side chair, minimalist and elegant, and a small stool to be placed throughout the house but also on a terrace or balcony. Maxime Lis has eliminated the superfluous while keeping the raw aesthetic. Entirely made in France, they are made of black powder-coated steel. Customizable RAL from 10 pieces. Also available in 316L stainless steel.
