L'OLIVIER FORGÉ

Sculptures of Olive trees , created out of metal, the olives are made in resin. The leaves are cut by hand and welded one by one. Joel's ideas are big ones, often stretching the limits in bespoke projects

Joël Rebière, tries to capture the spirit of the tree in order to immortalize it through multiple creations (candlesticks, wall lights, coffee tables, etc.). These olive trees with iron branches and steel foliage draw the garrigue from Arles to Avignon within a home. A real know-how developed around a passion for manual work which infuses, thanks to thoroughness and perfectionism, all the character at work, which then seems to take on life. Joël Rebière creates, in his Sauveterrois workshop, a unique Provençal breath that brightens the interior with "the forged olive tree".
