SARA PEREIRA ATELIER

Sara Pereira Atelier creates handmade and unique rugs for wall, plenty with organic forms, with color, with textures and with reliefs. The rugs created seem somehow linked to the earth, to rhythm and to cycles of nature.

This project reflects the cultural heritage of the north of Portugal, Sara Pereira birthplace. This region is traditionally linked to textiles and handicrafts. By family influence, artist´s childhood experiences are closely linked to textiles, to crochet, and to embroidery. After a painting master's degree in 2014, these memories and strong affections were recovered and materialize in this project.
