The first "ground glass" soy sauce bottle
This is a soy sauce pitcher that has remained unchanged since its launch in 1976. The mechanism of the lid of the glass soy sauce pitcher, which at the time was mainly screw-type, was replaced with frosted glass, referring to the mechanism of drip bottles. The frosted glass part of the bottle was adopted by many glass shops as a capillary action that would suck up soy sauce residue from the lid and return it to the body of the bottle. This soy sauce vase contributed to the development of the glass soy sauce vase and is included in the catalogue of the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo.
