SHANE HOLLAND SCULPTOR

Shane Holland, Irish designer, sculptor and master metal worker. Creating unique pieces of sculpture, lighting and objects.

I graduated from NCAD in1989 and established my studio in Dublin in 1991 creating models, prototypes for film, industry awards, lighting, and furniture projects. My sculptures and artistic works are influenced by my respect for the environment, my passion for the sea, tradition, and heritage, my embrace of new technologies, and my strong interest in history. My ethos is to try to create items of beauty and drama that are built to last using a diverse palette of materials. I often repurpose industrial or found objects in my work.
