STUDIO PALATIN

Barbara Palatin-Doyle is an artist, a collector of old masters, a docent for the Decorative Arts Department at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the founder of Studio Palatin.

Barbara Palatin-Doyle’s designs draw from the splendors and craftsmanship of luxury objects of past centuries. She reshapes their essence into contemporary sculptural lighting objects - luxurious, handcrafted, functional art objects of the present - by honoring traditional craftsmanship and using high-end materials. Her preferred materials are porcelain, bronze, gold, silver, glass and Japanese paper.
