Wewood - Portuguese Joinery is a Portuguese brand founded in 2010, as a result of the Research and Development Office of Móveis Carlos Alfredo, a family-owned company specialized in manufacturing solid wood furniture since 1964. Our heritage is grounded in more than five decades of production. We handmade or hand finish all of our pieces, far away from the standardized large scale production. Each piece is born from the inspiration and creativity of a restricted group of talented designers and architects turned into reality by the hands, wisdom, and experience of our craftsmen.

During Maison & Objet 2023, the Portuguese furniture brand Wewood will present a new collection in collaboration with the German designer Christian Haas. Four products have been designed specifically for dining and lounge spaces. -

Wewood launches a new collection of coffee and side tables, designed by the French designer Pierre Dubourg. Inspired by the architecture of the Brutalist fountains and stone gullies for water distribution, Rigoles is a collection of tables made of solid oak with a brass detail on the base. -

PORTO, MARCH 2022 – During Maison & Objet 2022, Wewood will present the result of the first collaboration with the Turkish designer Ümit Caglar, the Mey sideboard. Mey is the combination of a traditional sideboard with a sophisticated drinks cabinet. Wewood Will be in Paris from 24 to 28 March at Maison & Objet in Hall 7 | Stand A99.
