KIJINOKANOSEI
“kijinokanosei” means “potentialities / possibilities of textiles", in Japanese, and this is our name. We create unique textiles with artisans in weaving mills in various places in Japan.
“kijinokanosei” is a new project started in FW22, and the name means “potentialities / possibilities of textiles", in Japanese. Our first collection features 24 textiles in 14 patterns created from complex structures, made with artisans at the weaving mills in Bishu, Japan. Some yarns were originally developed with local spinners to achieve their unique designs. These textiles have completely different expressions to the front and the back, and each side has its own special personality. We hope you enjoy "kijinokanosei", with infinite possibilities.
