KIJINOKANOSEI

Our name “kijinokanosei” means “potentialities / possibilities of textiles", in Japanese. We create unique textiles with artisans in weaving mills in Japan with respect for tradition and craftsmanship.

“kijinokanosei” is a Japanese brand launched in 2022, as a project pursuing "possibilities of textiles" . Every collection features unique designs created from complex structures, crafted with artisans at the weaving mills mainly in Bishu, Aichi-prefecture, which is one of the world major textile hubs, and also in some other places depending on the characters of textiles we want to achieve. These textiles have completely different expressions to the front and the back, and each side has its own special personality. We hope you enjoy "kijinokanosei", with infinite possibilities.
