BARBOTINE CISELET SCULPTURES
Faces, singular presences, Lucien, Kévin, Paul or Marie carry their flaws like a strength.
Lucien, Kevin, Paul, Marie... my characters are not idealized. It’s their faces, their clumsy gestures, their sometimes fragile postures that interest me. It is there, in imperfection, that the soul, emotion and life are housed. Each sculpture thus becomes a fragment of existence: a sensitive, raw and vibrant imprint, an ode to our imperfect humanity.
