LOTUS SILK HOUSE

The women of the Lotus-silk House, Cambodia, design handmade decorative items, home fabrics and fashion accessories of the gorgeous golden silk, & a variety of local fair trade materials.

Being one of the last representants of the Cambodian fashion designers, Vannary the founder, Phala, Sreyleak and Kim, we, the ladies of the Lotus-Silk house give our heart to shape both traditional and modern textiles. We perpetuate the culture of the golden silk, extract lotus, kapok, banana threads, and upcycle gorgeous kimonos from Japan. Materials play an important role in the uniqueness of the brand. Their typical workshop in Phnom Penh is now well-known as the “Silk house” and open widely its doors to anybody in quest of tradition and history of Khmer textiles.
