HADACA
Man and Ezo Deer, Wearing “Coexistence” Just as the Ainu once covered themselves in Ezo shika deer skin, we, the people of today, intend to inherit the wisdom and craftsmanship behind it, and pursue "symbiosis" through new designs.
The brand name is "HADACA," a created word formed by us, meaning "skin deer. Ezo shika deer, which live through the great nature of Hokkaido, have individual differences in skin conditions, such as scars from fights between males or cuts from branches, and all have their own unique personality. Our hope is to convey to the world, which until now has regarded blemish-free leather as a superior quality, to stop for a moment, embrace and harness things as they are, which embodies a thought of return to nature and a sustainable concept.
