Beneath this poetic term lies a true passion: bringing abandoned objects and materials back to life. Carl values their history and turns recycling into an art form, offering works in metal, wood, glass and bronze. As a designer sculptor, he reuses "often historic" rusted metal, sometimes adorned with Eiffel-type rivets, as well as old tools, to transform them. A sensitive poet, he puts his know-how to work in his creations, immersing himself in the piece before transforming the wear and tear into an exceptional patina.
