Crafting skill, assembled by experienced artisan, is said to have originated as early as the 17th century. More than 400 years later, the techniques handed down to us. Maasa brand reproduce KUMIKO crafts using state-of-the-art laser cutting process to irons, not to woods. The unique texture and coloring of the steel is utilized to further bring out the charm of the KUMIKO pattern.
