ANNY JUILLET - DESIGN

Circle and black, symbols of life and light, are at the heart of my flat wood sculptures. These unique pieces, with their abstract design, bring life and harmony to the most beautiful interiors.

I create, solo in my studio in Britanny, unique and original abstract pieces entirely by hand. My work focuses on the circle, symbol of life, and on black, from which I seek to bring out the light. To compose my flat sculptures, I cut, punch, engrave, sculpt, scrape, smooth, glue, mix and paint the wood to obtain the relief and depth that set the work in motion. Black revealed in this way becomes a universal language, a symbol of absolute freedom.
