JEAN-FRANÇOIS LEMAIRE

After studying Fine Arts 35 years ago, JF LEMAIRE installed the kilns and tools needed for glass, bronze and ceramics in his workshop. In 2019, he will be creating a 3-metre-high urban sculpture weighing 500kg of glass for the city of Troyes.

His highly accomplished technique gives him a unique mastery of the inner and outer forms of his works, as well as their textures. Research, series, exhibitions and commissions are the hallmarks of his career, fuelling an approach that is constantly on the alert. Made for light, abstract and marked by a dream of wild nature, his works enchant gardens and interiors, both classic and contemporary. The works on display can be commissioned. They will be produced in the same spirit and with the same dimensions, quality and rendering comparable to the models chosen.
