A journey through the history of Beauvillé
Let's go back to the 16th century: Dutch refugees brought weaving and dyeing to Alsace. In 1756, Philippe Steffan set up his factory in Ribeauvillé. After several owners, Charles-Emile Steiner revolutionised the business in 1839. Today, the Borin family continues this heritage. The Manufacture d'Impression sur Étoffes is the last in Europe to print on flat frames.
