BEFORE VINTAGE FURNITURE (BVF), founded in 2023 in Okhotsk, Hokkaido, Japan, will exhibit at Maison&Objet Paris 2026, having been selected for the prestigious “Signature” Hall, the centerpiece of the fair. BVF creates timeless furniture from “unmarketable” wood—materials overlooked by mass production yet rich in character. Each piece is numbered, recorded, and traceable, embodying BVF’s belief that true sustainability lies in longevity. Through its unique buyback system, furniture gains value over time, much like vintage wine. From Hokkaido to Paris, BVF shares the beauty of enduring design.
