LI SHUDAN
Li Shudan, a Chinese sculptor born in 1994 in Shantou, Guangdong, has gained recognition for his detailed and evocative representations of fruits
He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Sculpture from the prestigious Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts in 2022. Specialising in wood and bronze, Li’s work transcends mere representations of objects and delves into the symbolism of life, nature, and the human condition. His sculptures, primarily carved from wood, intricately capture the textures, shapes, and natural imperfections of various fruits, presenting them not only as objects of beauty but also as metaphors for the human experience.
