Origin Made is a design brand based in Porto that champions the time-honoured value of craftsmanship and is founded by Singaporean couple Gabriel Tan and Cherie Er.

Origin Made celebrates traditional crafts by combining modern design with masterful techniques honed over generations to produce furniture, lighting, and collectible objects. Collaborating directly with skilled solo artisans and small family workshops who hold the keys to heritage ways of making, predominantly by hand and via small batch production, Origin Made advances its vision as a movement — one that encourages us to reflect on how things are made while deepening our appreciation for the honesty and tactility of raw materials, and the irreplaceable value of human handwork.
