Wendt & Kühn has stood for fine German craftsmanship in its most beautiful form since 1915. Company founder Grete Wendt (1887–1979) and designer Olly Wendt, née Sommer, (1896–1991) created a wealth of unique wooden figurines and music boxes. Today, Claudia Baer, née Wendt, and her brother Dr. Florian Wendt guide the destiny of the family company, in its third generation: thinking ahead to the future while at the same time firmly committed to the fundamental traditional values. This includes keeping production faithful to the more than 2500 original samples left by company founder.
