At KIM BYEOL HEE, we offer new value by applying the unique qualities of ceramics to traditional objects losing use in modern life. We mainly produce teaware inspired by soban from the Joseon dynasty. As wooden furniture decays over time, old soban are now rare. By recreating them in ceramic, we improve their resistance to water and heat while expanding their uses. In an automated world, we convey warmth by handcrafting each piece. Through time-honored techniques, we hope to bring tradition closer to everyday life.
