Sustainable pieces, handmade by master artisans of the Rio de Janeiro Carnival

Roberto Romero is an Argentine visual artist and designer based in Rio de Janeiro for the past eight years, where he founded Atelier-R in the former Bhering chocolate factory, now a major creative hub in the city. His work blends art and sustainability through wire and recycled steel sculpture, much of it sourced from Rio’s carnival structures. Each piece is handmade in small-scale production, in collaboration with local artisans and metalworkers.
