French-Brazilian designer Sylvie Couve de Murville Farini Quartara has always seen beauty where others might not look—in discarded wood, in age-old craftsmanship, in the quiet poetry of nature. Her creative journey began in Milan in the early 1990s, where she opened an atelier dedicated to painting and découpage on furniture and home accessories. It was here that she fell in love with wood as both a material and a medium to tell stories, spark emotion, and celebrate beauty.
