HWI Ceramica

“Hwi” is a combination of the old word for a vessel large enough to hold a lot of grain and the Spanish word for ceramics, “ceramica,” which means “large vessel of ceramics,” and encompasses all aspects of ceramics. Produce ceramic works in a variety of ways, combining mass production with hand-building, using all techniques of ceramic production (pottery wheel molding/hand painting/hand building) and mechanical elements (jigger/roller machine), and combining ceramic and natural materials (lacquer/wood).
