BUTAPANA's design philosophy is to achieve a perfect balance between "the garment and the person wearing it."

Aomori, one of Japan's snowiest regions, is where BUTAPANA has been crafting knitwear for over 30 years. We use over 300 different colors of yarn to create harmonious palettes, abstract motifs inspired by nature and culture, and unique knit fabrics imbued with our craftsmanship. We don't chase trends; instead, we work with our wearers to create timeless and one-of-a-kind pieces that will be cherished for generations.
