Inspired by traditional decorative techniques of composition and assembly, such as mosaic and marquetry, Atelier Anova brings its craft-based expertise into dialogue with today’s environmental imperatives: creating exclusively from what already exists. The studio has developed its own innovative technique, in which both inserts and substrates are made entirely from end-of-cycle materials—extending their usefulness, their textures, and their inherent memory—to produce bespoke, one-of-a-kind pieces crafted from discarded matter.
