SOFEN is a design practice founded by architect-designer Sharron Lee, following two decades of working in contemporary art. SOFEN is a versatile concept of playful soft furnishings that explores how subtle geometric shifts can transform the familiar. Balancing simplicity with complexity, our matrix allows interior designers to curate solutions for any space – from understated to eccentric. Each cushion is handmade in Germany, using only components certified to the highest sustainability standards. SOFEN cushions are quiet companions, who enrich everyday experience through intentional design.

Sofen is a Berlin-based design practice specialising in handmade, made-to-order cushions and contemporary soft furnishings. We create design-led cushions with playful geometric forms, minimalist yet sophisticated construction, and a modular concept for curated sets or customised combinations. Each 40×40 cm cushion is crafted in Germany using certified sustainable materials: GOTS-certified cotton, eco-friendly fabrics and trims, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 woven labels, Global Recycled Standard 4.0 zippers, and high-volume feather inserts. With pink inner covers, signature zippers, and precise detailing, Sofen cushions are modern, durable, and eco-conscious—designed for interiors that value quality craftsmanship, sustainable materials, and contemporary home décor.
