GIUSEPPE DEEPAK BENTI
I design and create one-of-a-kind collectible cabinets, made with hand tools only, hardwoods, and natural oil finishes. I apply purely manual techniques from the 18th Century to create collectible Handmade Functional Art.
In an era of industrial uniformity, I offer a rare counterpoint: Handmade back into Collectible Design. My work is a silent revolution against digital precision. From dimensioning timber with hand planes and hand saws, to cutting intricate houndstooth dovetails and round mortise and tenons with chisels and hand saws, to applying organic beeswax finishes, the manual process is the art itself. This path was born of necessity. This path was born of necessity. During the C19 pandemic, woodworking became my meditative anchor, a rhythmic, silent labor that helped me a severe anxiety.

GIUSEPPE DEEPAK BENTI - Video
I design and build one‑of‑a‑kind handmade functional art using solid hardwoods, hand tools only, and natural oil finishes. Every piece is crafted using centuries-old purely manual techniques, yet expressed through clean, contemporary lines. This is to create pieces that carry the quiet precision of traditional craftsmanship and the clarity of modern design.
