JUNKLE
We promote responsible consumption through the upcycling of used sails, deadstock of outdoor and indoor fabrics, as well as through the use of PVC leftovers destined for the junkyard. We use these materials to make things that last.
JUNKLE is a little and female based company from Palermo historical centre. Here we collect materials, we design, produce, photograph, narrate, publish our stuff on the online shop and partner sites – and we ship anywhere. We are digital first because this is about the entire planet. JUNKLE recover used technical materials, offcuts and production scraps on the way to disposal – yet performing surprisingly well – coupling them with carefully selected new materials to create made-to-last accessories and furnishing items.

JUNKLE – Home Furnishing & Décor
JUNKLE is a design project born in Palermo’s historical centre. We create home furnishings and accessories made from upcycled materials — used sails, deadstock outdoor fabrics, Olona canvas and PVC leftovers.Each piece is designed and made in Sicily, combining Mediterranean craftsmanship, urban design and sustainable production.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor spaces, they are lightweight, durable and removable — merging contemporary comfort with circular design.
- CANAPONI – Floor cushions and poufs in Olona canvasLarge floor cushions and poufs made with Olona canvas, a historic hemp–linen fabric from Italian maritime heritage. Natural texture, essential design and timeless comfort for relaxed lounging and interiors with raw elegance.
- CAMPARÌA – Poufs and soft seats in nylon/cotton/Olona leftovers and fabricsSoft modular poufs and seats crafted with deadstock textiles. A mix of industrial tones and Mediterranean warmth, ideal for both residential and contract environments.
- COZYE – Big cushions and pillows in deadstock fabricsOne-of-a-kind big cushions and decorative pillows made from deadstock market fabrics recovered in Sicily. Each piece features contrasting piping, removable covers and recycled filling — designed for sustainability and comfort.
- STAN – Pair of placemats in used competition sails (carbon and Kevlar)Unique pair of placemats made from upcycled competition sails in carbon and Kevlar fibre. The transparency and tactility of real sailcloth bring storytelling, texture and light to contemporary table settings.
