I started Dook in 2018, after discovering that my handmade salt soaps were something truly distinctive. The addition of salt enhanced every bar: strengthening the scent, improving the lather and extending its longevity. What began as an experiment quickly became a mission: creating products that are both beautiful and functional, while supporting a wider goal of reducing plastic in our daily routines.That’s how the brand was born. The name Dook - taken from the Scots word meaning “to dip, bathe, or plunge” - was the perfect fit, and I haven’t looked back.
