Aquatic Creatures was born to highlight the fragility of marine ecosystems and the need to protect them. The ocean mirrors the human soul, revealing extraordinary forms and colours while hiding darkness and danger in its depths. Inspired by this duality, Italian designer Riccardo Capuzzo creates imaginary sea creatures embodying life's many facets, from friendship and collaboration to vulnerability, conflict and inner shadows. His poetic, symbolic universe finds expression through Italian handcrafted products, conceived as objects that communicate ideas and stories.
