The European Union has included the product designation ‘Linge basque’ in the Register of Geographical Indications. Linge Basque’ is the traditional fabric that has adorned tables and homes in south-western France for centuries. Made from cotton and linen, it stands out for its quality and its iconic stripes, which stem from the shared artisanal expertise of Béarn and the Basque Country.
