Chhatwal & Jonsson is a Swedish design company and Stockholm-based design studio creating high-quality textiles for the home. Founded by Stig Jonsson and Geetali Chhatwal Jonsson, the brand combines timeless Scandinavian design with genuine craftsmanship, creating textiles designed to be enjoyed for years to come.

Our collections are defined by carefully considered colour, graphic patterns, tactile textures and premium natural materials. From handwoven wool rugs and designer cushion covers to outdoor cushions and merino wool throws, each piece is created with a distinct Chhatwal & Jonsson identity – contemporary, expressive and made with purpose.

Craftsmanship is at the heart of Chhatwal & Jonsson. We believe handmade textiles have a depth and individuality that cannot be achieved through mass production. Our collections are produced in close collaboration with skilled artisans using traditional techniques, including handweaving, hand printing and embroidery.

We work primarily with smaller, family-owned producers and maintain our own team close to production to support responsible working practices, consistent quality and long-term relationships with our manufacturing partners.

From our Stockholm design studio, we create contemporary home textiles that bring together Scandinavian aesthetics, genuine craftsmanship and enduring quality. Our ambition is simple: to follow our own creative direction and design pieces with character that remain relevant beyond a single season.
