ZOLLANVARI is one of the foremost producers of modern and tribal carpets from Iran. Gabbehs, the colorful high-pile rugs knotted for use as bed-covers, were ‘reinvented’ when ZOLLANVARI began weaving room-size ones with naturally-dyed hand-spun wool – a milestone in the history of Persian weaving. The Kundan silk carpets made in India have also been acclaimed globally. A family business since 1947, the sixth generation is active in Iran, Switzerland, Germany, South Africa, Turkey, China & USA.
