MANTECAS BY BUREL FACTORY produces blankets and shawls in natural wool, in Manteigas, a Portuguese village with a strong tradition in textile manufacture. We recuperate old patterns, in modern shapes and colours, but also create new patterns.

Setting in place a sustainable project, full of soul and passion, BUREL FACTORY works with the most traditional fabric of the mountain wool industry, the Burel. Combining the old knowledge with modern design, arise original and contemporary pieces, which now invade homes, businesses, hotels, in the form of rugs, stools, wall coverings, backpacks... MANTECAS BY BUREL FACTORY produces blankets, shawls and scarves, recovering old patterns with contemporary shapes and colors.
