SYLVIE GORDE shapes contemporary sculptural containers in stoneware and porcelain, sometimes decorated with metalwork. She thus creates powerful and refined pieces that leave no one indifferent and sublimate interiors.

Each object imagined by SYLVIE GORDE is unique, entirely made in his workshop in the Alps. She draws her inspiration from various ancestral cultures, notably armour, helmets and shields. These ceramics are sometimes adorned with brass pieces such as rivets, locks, stoppers which give the object an ancient and timeless look. Thus all his creations bear the name of a part of the samurai armour, including the kabutos, the famous helmet of the Japanese warriors. Sylvie Gorde works with galleries, shops, decorators all over the world, notably Europe and in Asia
