IYO KACAW

Iyo Kacaw was born and raised in Makota’ay harbor tribe on Taiwan’s east coast. He likes to listen to stories told by the tribal elders since he was little; and has been learning the life wisdom and cultural spirit of Pangcah (Amis) from those stories. As a result, he always pays respect to and feels grateful for Mother Nature. He also uses artworks to express his love of mountains, forests, the ocean and land. In recent years, he has been transferring innovative artistic elements into furniture and home decorations, which are all very popular as his artworks are very original.
