Product description
Ukiyo.e translates into pictures of the floating world. Ukiyo-e was essential for the West's perception of Japanese art in the late 19th century with corypaeus Hokusai and Hiroshige. A very popular motif among Ukiyo-e artists is Mount Fuji. Other elements from nature have been depicted as well, here the focus is on the details and a certain colour palette. Our prints originate from the 17th through to the 19th century.
