PARIS MONUMENTS SCENIC WALLPAPER
Product description
Edited in 1812, this panoramic was manufactured by the Dufour Manufacture. The original decor was printed using 2062 wooden boards reproducing 80 different colors. This re-edited model belongs to the city of Lamballe (Côtes d'Armor): it is now on display in the hall of the town hall, near the wedding hall. It was one of the most popular French panoramas in the United States at the beginning of the 19th century. This scenic wallpaper exists in a monochrome version and in a polychrome version. Dimensions: H224 x L772 cm. Collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris.
