The Makiki Pendant uses long strands of mendong grass to create a flowing, textured shape with strong vertical presence. Its generous form makes it a natural pendant shade that feels expressive without becoming visually heavy. Place it above a dining table, in a living room, over a bedroom corner, or through an entryway where the ceiling needs more texture and height. The open grass fibres let light pass through gently, creating soft shadows and a layered glow around the shade. This product is a lampshade only, allowing you to pair it with a suitable ceiling fitting or plug-in system available in our shop. Electrical components, cable, and light bulb are not included. As each piece is made from natural mendong grass, small variations in fibre direction, tone, length, and shape may appear. Keep it clean with soft dusting or a gentle brush, and avoid excess moisture, harsh cleaners, direct heat, and prolonged sunlight. This product is designed for indoor use only.
