In 1979 i saw 'The Dinner Party' by Judy Chicago, then displayed at the Museum of Modern Art, in NYC. I was so impressed by the intricate craftsmanship, the blunt symbolism for womanhood and the regal stature of feminist art, that I decided to become a ceramic artist. This BANQUET table is an homage, and a celebration to femininity and to all women working within the arts yesterday and today. My Banquet table is made up of 24 settings; including 24 plates, 24 cups and 24 spoons. Each setting is dedicated to one particular female artist who had a lasting influence on my artistic career.Product specifications
