Product description
The Albarello was inspired by the medicinal jars used by apothecaries to hold ointments and dry medicines. Its shape made it easier to store on apothecaries' shelves. The pottery is hand-turned and the original decoration has been blackened. The glossy black glaze has been hand-rubbed by craftsmen to give this matt finish. Material: Terracotta with unleaded glaze.
