Merging the brilliance of Saltillo serapes with the technique and aesthetics of northern Persia, this is an original design that dazzles. Saltillo is the oldest post-conquest settlement in northern Mexico. The Navajo people, after contact with the Pueblo and the Spanish peoples, began to also weave similar blankets and rugs.
