'Akari Monyo' is a table lamp that blends traditional Japanese craftsmanship with the modern material of resin. We have integrated washi paper (traditional Japanese paper), wood, and resin to seek a new form of expression. The resin parts are created using molds crafted by artisans in Sumida, Tokyo. Through finely carved panels, beautiful shadows are reflected on the washi paper.The light has shades on both the upper and lower parts. The lower shade casts a beautiful downlight and intricate patterns. The wooden base is handcrafted by artisans, with careful attention to every detail.
