Kintsugi: the japanese art of repairing with gold
This product is not available on MOM anymore.
Product description
Kintsugi (金継ぎ) is an ancient Japanese ceramic restoration technique that involves the use of lacquer mixed with gold, silver or platinum powder to rejoin the fragments of a broken object. Rather than hiding cracks and breaks, kintsugi highlights them, transforming them into unique decorative elements. Mine is a reproduction with the engraving of the piece and I paint the fracture with 10% gold.Present at Maison&Objet Fair
