KINTSUGI: THE JAPANESE ART OF REPAIRING WITH GOLD
Advised sale price:
€462.00

Product description
Kintsugi (金継ぎ) is an ancient Japanese ceramic restoration technique that involves the use of lacquer mixed with gold, silver or platinum powder to rejoin the fragments of a broken object. Rather than hiding cracks and breaks, kintsugi highlights them, transforming them into unique decorative elements. Mine is a reproduction with the engraving of the piece and I paint the fracture with 10% gold.
