Product description
Ming Dynasty-style furniture is made from hardwoods such as red sandalwood, rosewood, Cassia siamea wood, and beech wood by skilled artisans beginning in the middle of the Ming dynasty (1638-1644). Furniture made by artisans in the Jiangnan region, especially in the Suzhou region, is particularly popular. This is what is commonly referred to as “Suzhou Ming Dynasty Style Furniture” or simply “Su Style Furniture” .
