Product description

The shinogi design refers to the prominent edge that extends the entire length of a katana blade. The vertical lines on the outside of this rice bowl are expressed in a handwritten style with irregularities. The deep rice bowl is recommended for soups and appetizers. The texture of this bowl highlights the rice and stimulates the appetite. These rice bowls are made using the “Wabikonnezu” technique. The cooking takes place at a temperature of 1300 degrees Celsius, so that the pattern does not flake off. The resistance of this bowl to wear is surprising.
