Product description

Reproduction: sculpture entitled “The Boxer” (1914) (1914), made by the French artist Henri Laurens, is part of the cubist movement. Laurens transposes cubist principles — fragmentation, geometric abstraction and multiperspectivism — into a three-dimensional form. We perceive a body deconstructed in angular planes and volumes, while maintaining a strong physical and expressive presence. This work also functions as a decorative object: its geometric abstraction allows it to be integrated into a contemporary interior as well as in a more classical setting.
