Jules Lobgeois' work revolves around one idea: art applied to life. After studying industrial design and demonstrating a keen interest in functionality, he became interested in applying his learning to traditional craft techniques. He trained with a metalworker and then with a wood sculptor, Kaspar Hamacher, discovering an attraction to both materials and deciding to create objects that brought them together.
